2024 Photography Recap

I can’t squeeze an entire year of incredible moments into just 9 images, 2024 deserves more than that!

This year has been a whirlwind of photography adventures: from capturing the cosmos with Astro and Aurora shots to chasing storms and exploring the raw beauty of Western Australia’s landscapes.

It’s also the year I broke my “anti-drone” stance and added one to my kit. This new perspective has opened up a whole world of creativity and I couldn’t be more excited to refine my skills in 2025.

Awards Highlights:

I was absolutely stoked to receive both Highly Commended and Commended awards in the Australian Photography Magazine competition this year.

Recognition like this motivates me to keep pushing my creative boundaries!

What a Year in the Photography NFT Space!

In February, I minted FourYears a single-frame astrophotography piece that took (you guessed it) four years to perfect. The conditions finally aligned and the result is something I’ll always treasure. FourYears is still available to collect!

In December, I minted WildStars, a finalist in the WA Astrofest competition. This stunning single-frame image captures the Milky Way surrounded by vibrant Australian wildflowers.

WildStars is currently on show at the Perth Observatory and will soon travel as part of an exhibition to some of Western Australia’s incredible dark sky locations.

Another special moment came when InjiSets was collected by @Zeneca who shared that the image represents a place he wants to visit when he returns to Australia. I love when an image connects with a collector, no matter the reason, it makes the whole process so rewarding!

Lessons from 2024:

Community means everything. I’ve learned how crucial it is to stay true to your integrity while supporting others. My hope for 2025? That we continue uplifting each other, especially newer or less-recognized creators. If we all shine together, the space becomes stronger.

2025 Plans:

This year, I’ve been hard at work preparing for what’s next.

My first drone mint will launch in January, showcasing breathtaking ocean perspectives as part of my OceanLove Collection.

Alongside it, I’ll also be minting abstract landscape work that I can’t wait to unveil.

Thank you for your endless support and encouragement throughout 2024.

Your belief in my work fuels everything I do!

Let’s make 2025 epic!
